Hi Sven, is there a way to create a hyperlink from plain text to a Event without using a menu option? I don't want to use them in my Menu bar.

You can always call the component like this: http://www.svenbluege.de/demo/index.php?option=com_eventgallery&view=events
From there you can copy the links you need.
