 Hi Sven,
Sorry I closed the previous ticket : - http://www.svenbluege.de/support/general/614-new-images-not-visible-in-website-gallery : and now I wish I hadn't as I cant update it.

But there is still no update to the pictures in my gallery. I have waited for 30 hours and still no update to the webpage, despite the picasa gallery showing the pictures.

Are you sure google refresh after 24 hours as stated in your docs.

I dont want to have to refresh the cache every day manually, so really need an automated process in some way.

Thanks for any advice you can give

Rob

Yes, I'm sure. 24h after the last update of the Picasa cache file a reload will occur. But this is true only for Event Gallery 3.3 :) The older version have a default of 100 hours. You can change it in this file: /components/com_eventgallery/helpers/image/helper.php:71, default is 360000.

You can build a CRON job which removes the event gallery related files in the Joomla cache folder. But in the end this is not necessary. The updates will come in automatically. You just need to be patient.

Thankyou Sven
That was exactly what I needed - I have updated the entry and the page refreshed - I am setting it to 12 hours which I have calculated to 43200.

Have you any idea when your developer releases will be made Stable, as it seems that when I pay for the 3.1.6 (or 3.2.0) which I need for the performance improvements, they are still developer releases which I wouldn't put on a live site.

Also, do you have planned dates for 3.3.0 (developer and Stable)

Thanks

Rob

Version 3.2 already a RC and is stable enough to be used in a production environment.

I can't give a timeline for 3.3.
