I have been tire-kicking so I can choose a Joomla extension that I can use to display a lot of photos I have uploaded to Google Photos. I have not been able to understand what I need to do to create an Event using Google Photos - Shared Page.

I have attempted to create a new Event by entering the share link for an album and twiddle a few other settings but no matter what I have done, the event does not appear to get created. I think once the event is created I can figure out how to display the photos via a menu item but at this point I am confused as to whether this kind of 'integration' works or if Google broke that at some point. 

Can you either make an intelligent guess based on your experience with what newbies usually don't get right OR point me to the right part of the documentation that might provide a hint or two about what I'm doing wrong or just not doing that I should be doing?

I don't know what I did wrong but as I tried to fill in the form for the new event now, using my Android phone, the event got created and I can see the new page now with my photos.  

Still scratching my head, but I will retry again when I get a chance later. 

It looks pretty good and easy to set up.
