(I think, all images are resized in Browser with javascript, and I have no chance to set width and height in the php-code).
And what, if javascript is disabled in Browser? Then no images are displayed, only placeholders.

Hi,
having no JavaScript is nothing I support. Too edgy.
You can use the Square-Layout instead: https://www.svenbluege.de/demo/index.php/event-square-list/event/My%20Test%20Folder%207
This does ignore the aspect ratio of images. All others do respect them.
Thank You for the answer.
One wish remains: opportunity to configure the display-size of the images, for event-grid-list and event-square-list
perhaps in the extended version
Simple answer: no! ;)
You can steer the relative size of images already using CSS. But fixing images to a specific pixel-size is not a good idea since you want to support multiple devices with different screen sizes.
This might be an entry for modifications: https://www.svenbluege.de/joomla-event-gallery/event-gallery-manual/customize-responsive-layout
understood, thanks!
