while installing Event Gallery "pkg_eventgallery_light_3_1_4.rar" I'm getting error message "Error! There was an error uploading this file to the server."

I tried installing it through -Install from Directory but it giving same error and -Installing by Link giving "php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: Name or service not known"

I there a way to copy files manually to server.
I'm using a quick template on Joomla! 3.0.2

please help!

Please note that Joomla 3.0.2 is NOT supported anymore. Please use Joomla 3.1 or 3.2. Besides of this you have several options to solve this:

ask your provider to increase the maximum upload size. Currently the package is about 3.5MB large.
use the installation via a link. The Joomla Extension Manager provides this option. For Event Gallery 3.1.4 you can use this link: http://www.svenbluege.de/joomla-event-gallery/eventgallery-download/event-gallery-releases/event-gallery-3-1-4/pkg_eventgallery_light_3_1_4-zip?format=raw&jcompat=my.zip

thank you for the prompt reply,
Though installation via link you provide was a success,
but now its the "error 500 JHtmlBootstrap::startTabSet not found." at the Manage Events when I try to make New Event.

is there a way to get over with it
