I'm testing Event Gallery on one of our sites before buying a licence and everything is perfect except the navigation arrows when we use any of the layout where you click on a thumnail, they break and there are extra graphic elements on each photo (see attached screen shot.)

You can see the galleries on our site here:

Is there a setting I'm missing or is there a fix for this?

Thanks,

Harry

Hi,

please try to add this CSS to your templates CSS file.

#eventgallery_cboxClose, #eventgallery_cboxNext, #eventgallery_cboxPrevious, #eventgallery_cboxSlideshow {
	padding: 0px !important;
}

Unfortunately, your template forces how buttons should look globally.

By the way, I'm working to integrate a new lightbox. You can already see it in this site.

Mtimes
Thanks, Sven. That fixed it.

Will look at the new lightbox, but hoping you can help with one other issue.

When we add a title for the gallery in the event, there is a bunch of extra padding above it that we can't remove and it is especially an issue on mobile.

I've added it to the same page:

And attached a screenshot.

I've tried everything in the CSS that I can find to remove it, but am guessing I'm missing something in your code?

Thanks for any help you can be.

Harry

It is actually your code. It causes any H1-H4 element to be white. Not a good idea on a white background. If you fix that, you can use the event/album title as it is supposed to be used. Right now you're using the description field which is for longer text.

I attached a screenshot in the other answer.

Hmm. This is an old site, so will have to go back and look to see why it was done that way.

Thanks.

Just re-read your note. Is there a way to disable the event/album title?

sbluege
You can hide the date. I never thought about hiding the name of the album. You need to use CSS:

#event .displayname,
#event .date {
	display: none;
}

Mtimes
Thanks. That did it!

You're welcome.
