Sven I'm having an issue where the gallery tiles are displaying different. if you go to this link https://troyhall.photography/gallery you'll see the top 2 events are fine and display the way I wish, but the next one "NSFW" is below not beside, is much larger, and has totally different background and text color.
What is going on?
thanks

Hi,

I see three items on that page: 2 categories, 1 event. They are displayed differently because they are different things. You can configure the appearance in the components options.

I see what you mean but i'm soooo confused. What I want is the "gallery" menu item to have a square that doesn't have the image cropped, for each event in that category.
HOWEVER, i want the look to be exactly like you saw with the category look, which is tiles(?)
like this first image. ( idk where the circle is coming from I can't seem to located it )
The same exact css layout.
I've gotten it as close as I know how at this point.
Unlike before I don't want it go to another list of events when they click on "portraits" i want it showing the portraits event.

The clients section is pretty much the behavior I want those the responsive text is horrendous..
If you can think of a better layout/method I'm all ears.
the purpose of gallery is simply to be a 'portfolio'

I guess you figured out the layout. Just in case here are the possible layouts: https://www.svenbluege.de/joomla-event-gallery/event-gallery-manual/intro-and-installation#layouts-for-events-and-event

Did you enable the loading of the responsive CSS?

no I didn't actually, the impression I got was it was not needed if you had a responsive template.. i.e. BS3 template.
Thanks for your patience sven :D

You need the responsive CSS since it is entirely unrelated to your templates CSS. The idea is that you create your responsive CSS for Event Gallery which matches the breakpoints and other responsive stuff your template provides.
