Hi, I would like use by defaut the local images of joomla and not images/eventgallery , how I can do that ? thanks :)

Please have a look at components\com_eventgallery\config.php
I don't recommend this! You still need to respect the folder structure of Event Gallery. In addition Event Gallery will add .htaccess files which make accessing those images by URL impossible. You can turn off this image protection but that is another thing I don't recommend.

thanks for your answer. The problem is I have more 7000 pictures on my website : château patrimoine jeanne d'arc.. , I can't change my original folder for two reason :
1 ) I must work on 700 articles if i change folder, step by step for 7000 picture...
2) I d'ont want lose my original referencement of my pictures by google :(
the image protection is not a very bad problem for me ( I include on picture a watermack before upload )
I think for a new site it's not a problem to use images/eventgallery, but for an existing website it's not the good way...
I will try your solution, and I will come back if I have problem or not, I think I'm not alone to think that ;)

I'm fine it it works for you. Please keep in mind that Event Gallery will grab all the first level folders in the image root folder. There is no support for subcategories. Not sure if your current structure fits. If it does, just do a quick test run and go ahead.
