 Hi,

When you transfert new directories on the site and you use "Sync Database" you can't cancel this operation.

1-Transfert new directories
2-Goto the "Sync Database" option
3-Uncheck all or live the directories checked.
4-Use close buttom just after without use the sync option.

When you go to the Events all unchecked or checked directories are created.

When you do mass import....

I don't see an issue here. All new directories are created unpublished so users will not see anything until you manually publish new events. So even if you cancel the sync be leaving the page it has no effect for users.

Hi,

You don't understand.

It's a big programmation bug.

When you close with buttom "Close" and you don't use Buttom " Sync Folders" or "Sync Files" you do nothing.

And if you uncheck all directories is the same you do noting.

Big mistake.

regards.

Right and unfortunately I still don't see the point. If you open the sync page the initial folder sync is done so you see all your folders. Then you go through the two step process like described in the gray box. If you don't click anything nothing will happen.

If you don't like the two clicks you can use the CLI program on the command line to perform the sync.

FALSE

You just do this test.

1-Send in your server an directory with picture.
2-Go to the SyncDatabase TAB
3-Uncheck you new directory
4-Click on close.

You see after your new directory in you database.

But it's an false action.

Normaly you do NOTHING

regards

well.. that feature had a page with a big fat warning page in the last versions. That went away. I spend a couple of hours to avoid initial database changes while loading the page initially. That change will be part of the next release.
