So after upgrading to Joomla 3.6.2 and Eventgallery 3.4.7 the titles in events wont show anymore. Any help.

Yes, sorry its shows because i tried something meanwhile. I restored and synced the photos and the title automatically become the folder ID.
Now i changed the first album title in test. But its not showing anything.

I had some problems (errors) whit updating an old version so i uninstalled first then installed the new version.

That is a very good explanation for the missing titles. If you uninstall Event Gallery, all database tables are deleted as well. If you use the "sync database" button, all events are back and the title is the folder name.

So is there something i can do? I also have the old backup before i updated Eventgallery. I also tried to delete Eventgallery and then started from the start without the sync button, but the result was the same: no titles.

I don't recommend using this backup. Usually that makes things worse. If you can install this backup on a second server you might want to try the build in import/export to copy over the event meta data.
Just to make sure we're on the same page: whenever you uninstall Event Gallery you lose all your data in the database. Because of this is does not matter if you're using the sync button or not.

Yes i also tried this. I have a second virtual server. I have exported the data to a file. Then tried to import on the main server without resolving the issue.
I understand that i lost all the data, but I can insert the titles and date manually.
But i dont understand why I cant change the title manually without the titles goes blank. So when I want to change the title from album to wathever else the title disapears. Also if I uninstall then reinstall eventgallery the gallery titles still wont work. Are there some cfg files i need to delete manually to uninstall eventgallery?
I have no problem to rebuild the gallery from start if is needed. If only I can resolve the issue.

You use a language in your front end which you can't manage in the back end. I installed the missing language so you see now two fields for the title & stuff. It works now. But I'll have a deeper look at this since the language fields should take the front end languages into account.

One thing that now i canot figure it is how to change the order of the photos in the category gallery. I want them to be sorted descendig by date. I changed the order in manage events but on the site wont change.

You can't change the ordering of files. At least not automatically. You need to sort them manually. In Event Gallery 3.4 all files are sorted by ordering desc and file name asc. In Event Gallery 3.5 I added the option to sort by some kind of date. It uses the IPTC creation date field of an image.
