i see you fantastic component, but i see that use picasa album, that ok are hosted on google space, but the site still go down, because google have decided to centralize the photo in google photo, have you think to migrate to "google photo" album or what? i hope that i'm being clear

If you manage to make your album public using Google Photos you can still use it with Event Gallery.
I added a publish button to the picasa selector: https://www.svenbluege.de/picasa/v1.1/ but it might stop working 1st of May.
