 I used your extension on another older site Joomla 2.5 event gallery 3.2. Now I'm trying to upload, install and use on a new site but I get this message trying to install the component.

JInstaller: :Install: Can't find XML setup file.

Table 'ironcity.da1tl_eventgallery_folder' doesn't exist SQL=ALTER TABLE `da1tl_eventgallery_folder` CHANGE `published` `published` TINYINT( 4 ) NOT NULL DEFAULT '0'

Package Install: There was an error installing an extension: com_eventgallery_3_4_3.zip


I can do the plugins individually but the component won't install. I would really like to use this as I have two more sites coming up that I will require the full version.
I even tried loading directly from the Joomla extensions gallery but I get the same problem.

This particular site is using Joomla 3.4.8PHP version 5.5
I was trying to install event gallery 3.4.2 and got this message.  Is it because the original installation of Joomla was 2.5 and I migrated the site to 3.4? there didn’t seem to be any instance of event gallery in the original files but I will try your suggestions and let you know.

I wasn't able to uninstall all the programs using the uninstaller so I went through each and every folder looking for event gallery class files. Another search told me there was still one left but I couldn't find it. I disabled it and tried the reinstallation and it all worked. I had to go in and re-enable the com file and in a few minutes all is well. Thank you!
