you can try to add this to your templates CSS file:

#eventgallery_cboxTitle .img-caption
{
    display:none;
}

Actually your CSS snippet should work. Are you sure your browser loaded your change?

Paolo.Ferlini
Dear Sven,
i looked into the browser and i verified that the css is the newest one. I reported also a piece of the page source. The problem seem to be related to the element's style. Wher i'm wrong ?

Thanks again

We need to force this a little bit:

#eventgallery_cboxTitle {
	display:none !important;
}
