This is the best Joomla gallery extension I have ever encountered. I am evaluating it at: http://www.eurodolphin.com/bcb3/index.php/en/

Can you tell me how I could modify the transition in the slideshow? I want them to fade rather than switch abruptly. Based on another reply I assume I have to add suitable code in the template's default css file.

You'll have no success with CSS here. The used lightbox is colorbox. If you want to modify anything here I guess you'll need to hack the Event Gallery javascript. Colorbox does support another transition mode but at least for Event Gallery I don't recommend it.

You can try to load the JS/CSS files uncompressed to see what they are actually doing and to modify them even if I don't recommend any modifications. Check the components options for that.

Thank you for this Sven. I have made some changes in the js file but so far without success. As this is a low priority I will first complete my website and come back to the slideshow transition issue at a later date. If I have any success I will send you my code.
