Google just changed Picasa albums outlook and url name structure. How to set now a picasa album?

You're wrong here. Google introduced "Google Photos". Picasa does still has the same url structure as before. Keep in mind that Event Gallery only supports Google Picasa and Google+. There is currently no way to access Google Photos.

Event Gallery 3.5 will include a new album selector. Maybe this is already helpful for you:
