Hi Morten,
YouTube videos are not supported. Event Gallery is a gallery component. Putting together random video does not fit into the concept. If you want to use Videos, you can upload them to your local webspace / AWS S3, Google Photos and Flickr Pro. I recommend using Flickr Pro since this does not require anything on your webserver and has a stable API for a long time. With Google Photos it works, but you never know when Google changes something the next time.
