Goodevening,
On the right side of my website I tried to show all titles of events from within 2 categories (2024 and 2023) but is not showing anything except the title of the module. The events in the middle are showing because I made a menu as well of 1 category
What am I forgetting? Sorry I am new to your component.

this works as expected. The categorie-Module can show categories. Nothing more. Here you can see this module in action: https://www.svenbluege.de/demo/
If you want to show Events, please use one of the other modules.

Thanks for your reply. I would thought it would show the category title as a link which you can click on and than you should see the photo's in the left side. Now I see only a title on the right side and doesn't do anything, so I don't understand the use of only showing a category title.
Same as your demo, you can press the link on the right side, and you see the picture on the left. I can't even click.

That should work. How did you configure your category structure? In the module, I see you're selecting "2024" at the root category of the tree. Are there subcategories?

It looks like you have only the years as categories. If you select the root category, the categories module will show the different year-categories.
