Hi trying to switch to pre-calculated images for local events to reduce our server load as one event with 350 images is causing problems when the script runs. Data base has been synchronised, thumbnail generator has been run and the /public_html/images/eventgallery_generated/ folder is populated with the events. However when we switch the option to "Use precalculated thumbs for local images" to yes all the images are no longer visible, you can see the placeholder but it's just black clicking it opens the image viewer but again it 's black. If we switch the option back to No then all the images display as normal. Any idea's ? are we missing something ?

Hi Jimi,

switching to pre-generation involves some manual steps. You did most of them. Usually, the thumbnails-folder is protected against direct access with .htaccess files. You need to delete them once. Every new Event will not have them.
