Suggest an auto-generated email be sent to a website owner/builder if the 'Google Verification Status' for the site becomes 'invalid' informing the owner that the Status needs to be invalidated because it has errored.
Or... Possibly an auto-restart of the Verification Status be included to auto-revalidate on detection of an error condition.

Hi Steve,
the verification should actually never expire. This only happens if the Google Application is in testing mode. Then the verification status will last for 7 days only.

To use Google Photos, you created a Google Application. This application needs to be published (see the first screenshot on that page). Otherwise, you'll encounter that same issue again. If it is published, the credentials will stay valid without any time limit.

Btw, it is not necessary to let Google verify the application. It is only for you and your site and would not change the functionality.

This happens 7 days later, so there is something wrong with the application. One of the earlier screenshots show the Google Application in “in validation”. This is not needed. Do you mind creating a new Google Application, but do not hand it in for validation?
