Suggest an auto-generated email be sent to a website owner/builder if the 'Google Verification Status' for the site becomes 'invalid' informing the owner that the Status needs to be invalidated because it has errored.

Or... Possibly an auto-restart of the Verification Status be included to auto-revalidate on detection of an error condition.

Hi Steve,

the verification should actually never expire. This only happens if the Google Application is in testing mode. Then the verification status will last for 7 days only.

Not all gallery directories are affected. And a revalidation fixes this too.

If they use the same account, they should be all affected. Requests to Google are cached, once the cache is no longer valid, the problem of invalid credentials will be visible.

How is your Google Application configured? Is it published?

Not sure what you mean by ‘how it is configured’ but I made the site using their standard template (as I did with my previous one). The site has been active for a couple of months at least and I’ve had the invalided google verification happen about three times, and only on some gallery directories…
Everything is working properly at the moment though so we could keep the ticket open and see when it happens again… Here is my site.

Please check the link I added to my last post:

To use Google Photos, you created a Google Application. This application needs to be published (see the first screenshot on that page). Otherwise, you'll encounter that same issue again. If it is published, the credentials will stay valid without any time limit.

Hi Sven.
Just checked and my Google says I’m published…

That looks fine. There is no reason, the credentials would become invalid. I don't have reports like that. Did you make any changes to the Google Application?

Btw, it is not necessary to let Google verify the application. It is only for you and your site and would not change the functionality.

Suggest we leave the ticket open and I’ll see if it happens again.

Some of my Google gallaries are not appearing today... i.e. the condition has repeated itself... I revalidated and all files populated as expected

This happens 7 days later, so there is something wrong with the application. One of the earlier screenshots show the Google Application in “in validation”. This is not needed. Do you mind creating a new Google Application, but do not hand it in for validation?
