This looks like problem #1344 but in this case, the images are local.
Any suggestion to solve this problem?

Hi,
a change of a watermark requires the recalculation of the cached thumbnails. You're using dynamic thumbnails, so you only need to delete the cache. Use the "clear cache"-button on the overview page of Event Gallery in the backend and delete the cached thumbnails.
Your browser might do some caching as well. Please delete the browser cache, too.

I cleared Joomla cache and browser cache but wasn't aware of the Event Gallery cache. Problem solved. Thanks a lot.
