I have MySites.guru set up to automatically install updates when they're available. This is normally not a problem - at least I've never run into any except once when I "acted quickly" to install that Joomla update that broke logins - had to deal with fixing 25 websites to resolve.

Fortunately, only four websites were affected by the automatic update of Event Gallery to 4.2.0 - but now I cannot access the sites to install 4.2.1, which I assume fixes the bug that was introduced in 4.2.0.

Is there ANY way to fix this without having to restore from my backup? That's a tedious process.

Thank you,
Ernie

Hi,

Yes, Event Gallery 4.2.0 is the reason.

The issue occurs with PHP 7.4 or older. If you encounter issues and you can’t install Event Gallery 4.2.1, please open /components/com_eventgallery/library/Connector/Flickr.php and delete all occurences of \EventgalleryLibraryFlickraccount|null. Then you can install the update. Sorry for inconvenience.

You could also increase the PHP version to 8.0.

I tried the PHP 8.0 update, but that returned a completely unrelated error (something about my Gantry 5 template), but when I edited the Flicker.php file for each website as you directed, everything was fine and PHP 8.0 is not showing a conflict with Gantry 5.

Thank you for the almost immediate response on a Sunday - I had to get this done before those clients began getting visitors on Monday.
