would like to ask if i can link the individual photos to other articles in the site through internal link. if yes, how to do that? If no, do you know other extensions that can do that?

what kind of link do you have in mind? Do you want to embed images into an article? If so, you can use the content plugin. https://youtu.be/IEegcdbyfhg

Hi, I am not asking to embed an image in an article. I mean I want to link an image to an article in the site. like linking to contact page to one of the image in the album.

I'm still not sure if we're on the same page. If my answer does not fit your needs, please try again ;)

If you want to link to an URL, you can configure that URL as one of the image properties. If somebody clicks on such an image, the browser will jump to that link instead of opening the lightbox.
