Is it possible that the phone number field becomes a mandatory field during the ordering process?
Where could i make this?

Hi,
Unfortunately, this requires a code change. Right now there is no configuration option for this field. A simple XML file defines it as optional. While you could change this file, there might be some additional php changes necessary as well.
