Hi Sven

With your help I have managed to make the component look like I want with the exception that I cannot get the Latest Photo Module to show the last photos added. Irrespective of what photos are added to google photos, it just shows the same photos. This tends to negate its usefulness which is a shame as it looks good.

The photos in the showcase have just been added to Events Gallery Extended yet the Latest Image Module shows images from the cars event I added yesterday. This is why I am confused.

Specifically, irrespective of what I set in the sort sections, even after clearing the cache, the same photos are displayed in the module. It doesn't seem to matter that new photos have been added. This implies that I am misunderstanding how this module works. Can I ask for a clear explanation of how Event Gallery knows which photos have just been added?

Hi,

Let's start with the most easiest thing. Since you see the latest images in the main component the interface to Google photos seems to work. But Modules are cached by default. Can you try to clear the cache for this module type please?

I onuy know how to clear the cache using the system area ie. clear cache and clear expired cache. I don't know how to clear module cache specifically. Can you advise please.

I attached a screenshot of how to clear the module cache.

But maybe we're not on the same page. I just noticed how you named the module. There is no "latest images module". There is a "latest event" module which shows the most recent event. Right now I don't offer a module which is able to show the latest images from various events.
