Hi Sven,
is it possible to connect a different payment method?
I live in Ukraine and PayPal takes a large percentage of the value of goods and I have a little.
For example, in the Virtuemart plugin there are suitable methods of payment (for example: liqpay, Interkassa).
What can I do with that problem?

You can only use the payment methods which are available out of the box. This is right now Paypal and Braintree. Implementing new payment methods consumes development time and adds a lot of maintenance ballast. Because of this I implemented only famous methods. Speaking of Paypal: I don't like their fee policy as well.

If you have a developer at hand you might be able to implement your own payment method by looking at the code of the existing payment methods. Please keep in mind I can't provide support here.
