Is there a way to configure the event module so when the user clicks on the module it opens the gallery up directly with the lightbox instead of going to the event page?
I have the link mode for the event module to open in lightbox, but it is going to the event page.
By the way, love the slick gallery :)

You can either open the event or the lightbox. There is no implementation to do both.

If you change the configuration of a module make sure you clear the cache. By default those modules might be cached.

btw, what is the "slick gallery"?

neveryonas
"Slick" as in looks really awesome!
Just to clarify, I do not want to do both, I just want the module to open in the lightbox. It is however, it opens on the event page instead even though I have the module configured to open in lightbox.

I know I probably have some other setting wrong somewhere.

i have attache a screen shot of the module configuration.

Can you check the "advanced" tab please? It caching active? The configuration itself looks fine.

neveryonas
Caching is enabled at 900 seconds. I cleared the cache as well in Event Gallery.

Sorry, I missed that the default layout can't use the lightbox. Please switch to the image list layout.

neveryonas
Thanks, that works, but because I have it set to display only one image, the lightbox only shows the one image. Any way for it to show all the images in the lightbox?

Cheers

You can do that but not with a build in module. Instead create a custom HTML module and use the content plugin to add one image visible and the other images as invisible. This allows to have one image on the page but all available in the lightbox. You need to at two content tags for this. Make sure you enable the execution of content plugins for your module.

I had already thought of that, but it is not quite what I was hoping for. The reason I wanted the module, is I like that the Facebook Share button is shown on the lightbox.

It doesn't show when embedding into html. Is there a way to do that with the content plugin?

sbluege
Currently this sharing button appears just in case the button is visible on the thumbnail. Which is unfortunately not the case if you use hidden thumbnails. I'll put this on my todo list since it makes sense to have this.

I look forward to it. Thanks
