 Dear Sven,

got an error sinds updating to Joomla 3.6, so I updated EGE to 3.5.6. However, now I'm getting a different error (whilst loading a event gallery module on the frontpage, I get a whitepage with:

Warning: require(/home/theothijssen/public_html/modules/mod_eventgallery_events/tmpl/slide.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/theothijssen/public_html/modules/mod_eventgallery_events/mod_eventgallery_events.php on line 57

Fatal error: require(): Failed opening required '/home/theothijssen/public_html/modules/mod_eventgallery_events/tmpl/slide.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/theothijssen/public_html/modules/mod_eventgallery_events/mod_eventgallery_events.php on line 57

Can you assist? For now I have disabled the module and then the site works fine.

Greetings,
Jeff

Who did you install the update? Did you install the full package? Seems like there are missing some files.

lafra002
Yes I installed it via the normal way (total package). When I look into the code, there does not seem to be any slide.php in that folder at all (also not in de .zip file), so I don't really get the error message.

sbluege
You're right. Can you check the modules configuration? Maybe you selected an old layout which does not longer exist for this module.

lafra002
Yes, apparently that did the trick. When I opened the module and just re-saved it without changing options, the module worked fine. Could have saved you from this discussion on a Sunday haha..

Thanks!

:) You're welcome.
