Is there a way to either auto sync the database when new files are uploaded into the folder (by ftp or other) or create a Cron Job to sync it regularly?

There is a CLI script for syncing the database. Just run the PHP script cli/eventgallery-sync.php from the command line.

Thanks for you response. Sorry but I'm still learning. Would this be through the Command Line on the Cron Job (using my host's cpanel). Not sure how else to do that?

Creating a CRON job is a good idea. Not sure how to do it in your environment but it should be something like "php cli/eventgallery-sync.php". Maybe your hosting provider offers an FAQ for this?
