Hi,
is it possible to hide the "Image Type Selection" box on the event page and still show the "Add to cart" button on every image? I've defined only one image type (Digital copy at no charge) so it doesn't make sense to "waste" the space the box needs. Visitors just should be able to flip through the pictures, add the ones they like to the cart and get a list of the download links afterwards.

Thanks in advance!

Yes. There is no configuration option for that. You need to add some CSS to your templates CSS file to hide what you don't need.

mjakobi
I was afraid you might say that...

This should get you started:

.imagetypeselection-container .imageset,
.imagetypeselection-container .help {
	display:none;
}

make sure you add this to the CSS file of your template.

Very cool mate, many thanks!
After finding out where to put these lines ;-) I found that they still leave an empty grey box on the page.
To get rid of that as well I tried
.imagetypeselection-container {
	display:none;
}

and that seems to do the job apart from one thing. When I choose "Event - Ajax List" as the "Event Layout" the Add-to-cart button disappears from the preview image and from the Lightbox image.
I've tried many things to fix this but I'm afraid the knowledge I have so far is too limited to fix this on my own. Could you please help me again?

Thanks!

There was a reason I did not hide the whole container.

Now you did and you want to use the "Sticky Image Type Selection" configuration option in the components options.

mjakobi
Yes, that's exactly what I've tried. And it seems to work fine that way in all Event-Layouts apart from "Event - Ajax List". The others do show the button correctly.
Does your posting mean that it's not possible to do it that way for the Ajax List?

sbluege
Oh, of cause. There is this condition somewhere:

jQuery('.imagetypeselection').is(':visible')

If you hide the image selection for the ajax layout it'll not show the cart button. Instead of "display:none" you can try this:

.imagetypeselection-container {
	position: absolute;
	height: 0px;
	overflow: hidden;
	border-width: 0;
}
