Hello,
we have installed your awesome component EventGallery for a site we built for our customer, and we need to search for images using the title and caption of the images (since tags are at the moment supported only for the events).
Is there any joomla extension that you can suggest us to use for that purpose? Or even better, are you planning to extend the tag mechanism to single images as well?

You're right. Currently you can search for events only. There is an item on my list to search for files too. But I can't provide a timeline for this feature.

Tags for images are not planned. This will hardly work for Google+ and Flickr images.
