 Hi Sven

I see you working on password redirect. Do you have any info on this as there is
no docs release notes. This is one thing I want to implement ASAP. I now saves me from having to buy a Joomla extension I have found. :-)))))).

Also meant to say also that as its integrated to EG the implementation will be smoother,
than a 3rd party make do extension.

It simply offers an input field where you can type in a password. If this password matches an event password you'll get redirected to this event.

This component is provide "as is". No support, no documentation and no official release. I just build it in the past and maybe it is useful for somebody.

Which extension did you found?

Hi Sven
I gather if I put the events into a hidden event listing. Will this work or does the redirection
work even if the event is not Tagged.

The 3rd party extension is.

It seems to do what I needed but haven't tried it yet.

The redirect does not care about where you link an event.

Make sure you hide your event on the page index.php?option=com_eventgallery&view=events by adding a tag to the components options. Use a tag you don't actually use to get an empty filter result. Now you can start having real "hidden" events.

Fantastic will have a play with it later.
