I cannot get the just purchased EventGallery Extended to install on my site using the upload feature. The installer just spins and spins but never finalizes the process. What can I do?

At least you should run into a
timeout after some time. Sorry for asking, but did you wait long enought
after selecting the file and hitting the install button?

From what I can deduce the first package got corrupted during the download. When I downloaded the package again, the install worked fine using that package.
I have installed hundreds (or maybe thousands?) of Joomla extensions, and I've never waited any particular amount of time between selecting the file and hitting the install button. Is this some über secret process I should be aware of...? ;-)

No secrets here ;) But after hitting the install button a request is fired. This one should at least show an error page but it should not load forever. But in the end it worked so we should be fine here.
