This method is selectable if the cart contains both physical and digital items (mixed order). The digital items will only become available for download once the order is both paid AND marked as shipped. This ensures that physical items are sent before digital content is released.
When you mark the order as shipped, the customer receives a shipping notification email that includes:
- Download links for all digital items in the order
- A link to download all digital files as a single ZIP archive (if enabled)
The download links are also available on the order tracking page once the order status is "shipped".
The mixed shipping method has the same configuration options as the download method:
- Show download links for single files - Display individual download links for each digital item
- Show ZIP Link - Offer a single ZIP file containing all digital items
Make sure the plugin is published. Otherwise the configuration options will not work.
