#759 Cache problem? Photos load every time

Hi,
I'm having some cache problems it seems. I've setup an event with 300+ photos and then I added a menu with a Pageable List. The photos load when I visit the site. But the problem at the moment is that it loads the photos again when I refresh. So for every refresh page visit it generates new thumbnails in the cache folder.

If I look in /cache on the server, I can see that it has created the following folders inside cache:
com_eventgallery_images/photos. The first time I visit the gallery it loads up 300 thumbs.
If I refresh the site, it is suddenly 600 thumbs. And it just keeps on rebuilding every time I visit the site.

I have cache turned off in global settings in joomla. Also tried with it on, but I get the same result.
Any idea what could cause the problem?

That's actually not an issue but a feature. It seems you have set the height jitter to something else than zero. This will cause random image sizes and therefore more cache entries. But don't worry, they are not unlimited.

Unlike other galleries Event Gallery always renders the right thumb size on the server side to avoid loading large thumbnails or let the browser do the resizing.
