I installed Event Gallery on a new site and enabling 'Event Gallery - Picasa Updater' plugin results in a server error (500), white page both frontend and backend. Also Flickr albums are not imported.

With Error Reporting turned on I get this message: Fatal error: Class 'Joomla\CMS\Log\Logger' not found in /home/users/A007302/euromf.be/www.euromf.be/libraries/src/Log/Logger/FormattedtextLogger.php on line 28

Please double check your version of Event Gallery. Version 3.7.8 should avoid exactly this issue.

Oh, I see that the error is thrown in Joomla code. Can you try to apply the Joomla 3.8.2 update again? Maybe there are some files missing.

The Event Gallery version seems to be fine. But maybe your Joomla version is broken. Can you try to install the Joomla 3.8.2 update again?

Sven It was a clean install. But there seems to be something wrong: re-installing Joomla core doesn't work. In transferring the installation files by FTP some files were refused by our Firewall and I had to ask our providor to do the upload of some files. Apparently one of them didn't end up in the right place.I'll keep you posted.
