Hello

i did set up the facebook developper tool page for the facebook application.

it is ok except facebook needs more informations regarding the publish actions.

they even ask a video that shows the process !

and now it is not a simple window that open where we could copy the informations you wrote here : https://www.svenbluege.de/joomla-event-gallery/event-gallery-manual/social-sharing?highlight=WyJmYWNlYm9vayJd

but a full page a option to say yes or no...

could you please check that and get back to us ?

I guess you try to create a Facebook application so you can enter the ID in Event Gallery? But I'm not sure if I understand your question.

My recommendation: don't use the Facebook application. There is not longer a need for it. The simple share dialog works fine now.

Hello,
yes, i did enter the Id in event gallery.
what is the « simple share dialog » ?
because all i have is at bottom of images a kind of 3 branches logo. When i open it, it shows facebook, google, pinterest, …all works except facebook.
so since i entered the id event galery, now it links to the facebook window.
but this one says it will not publish the event because the autorisations are not complete
and in facebook developer page, it says i must get the autorisation for publish actions
so if there is an other solution, i would be happy to discover it.

Please use the "Share Dialog". You find it in the "Facebook Share Type" drop down in the components options.

The Facebook app was necessary in the past because of issues with the share dialog. In the meantime the dialog works fine.
