Hello, I installed the component, more to upload the images, they do not appear in the backend, then reading the FAQ, saw that could enable the Use Rendering Fallback option, and so worked.

I ask, is there any problem to leave this option enabled ??

Thank you and success!

Using the fallback is not a good idea. I is slower than the normal way to deliver thumbnails to the browser since it invokes the Joomla core every time. Instead make sure /components/com_eventgallery/helpers/image.php is executable as a php file.

Hello sbluege, I now was in doubt as whether the file can be run as a php file ??

Any tips?

Thanks

That's a question your hosting provider can answer best. Usually you need to adjust the file permissions.

hello sbluege, I solved the problem leaving PHP script with the permissions 744, as they were with the standard 644, and it worked!

Thank you.
