Hi, I was looking to find out if it is possible to select event gallery from a Joomla version 2.5.28 site and then move them across into a new version of my website which I have built using version 3.4.4?

I currently have 25 folder with images and rather than creating them again on the new site, I was wondering if there was a quicker way to do this.

Any advice would be appreciated. Not sure if its within the database, but any solution would be really helpful.

Try to use the import/export function. Or transfer your images manually and copy the #__eventgallery tables as well.

Thanks for your response. Apologies, when you say manually do you mean copy and paste them into local directory and then upload them?

Paste them into the other directory. Since you copy the database tables as well this is no problem.

Thanks sven, i managed to use the import/export tool which has copied all the folders across. Btw in terms of copying the images where is the location of the images when uploaded, as would be easier to copy the image folders across...
