Hi,

I can't get an <a> Tag in an item (title/caption) to work on mobile devices.

If I use the URL-field of the item, the thumbnail links directly to the URL and there is no lightbox. So I decided to use an <a> Tag.

The link is clickable on desktop browsers (Chrome, Firefox, IE) but not on any mobile device.

My used layout: Image List

Could you please give me some advice?

I am also interested in a subscription for Event Gallery Extended.

I am looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Best Regards,
Alex

Where do you see the link? In the lightbox? If so the answer is easy. The lightbox grabs all the events so the link can't be clicked.

The link is in the lightbox below the image (position of the item title).

Is there any other way to create a link in the lightbox so that it works on mobile devices too?

Thanks in advance.

Best Regards,
Alex

yes. You need to make this link react on touch events. They'll happen before the click event.

Thanks for your fast reply.

Would it also be possible to do it like the share button just with a custom link for every item?

The attached screenshot is from your demo page.

Best regards,
Alex

Yes, but you need to do that yourself. There is nothing build in to have this out of the box. Just the database field for such a link already exists. Currently it's just used differently.
