Hello!
I have a large experience in Jommla extension installation, I know that folders must have needed permissions.

Earlier I tried to use Your free version of Event Gallery (3.3.3) and had any problems too. I seem some XML-file not completely correct.

In this case database tables was created, folders /components/com_eventgallery, /administrator/components/com_eventgallery didn't create, folder and /media/com_eventgallery appeared but it is empty. Installer interrupted with error. The row in @__extensions was added with id 10077.

May be i should try continue to install manually? I can copy component folders to places. If i'll need use modules I can install them manually too.

If the installer can't finish successfully there is something wrong with your installation. Every version can be installed without any issue. So we need to find out what's going on on your server.

please try the following:

- try to uninstall every event gallery related package/component using the installer
- remove all #__eventgallery_* tables from the database
- remove /administator/components/com_eventgallery
- remove /components/com_eventgallery
- install the package again.

Do you get database initialization errors after your second try?

Hello!

I installed component on "naked" Joomla and there were not problems. Sorry, You spent time...

As I understood, there was problem with installer at real site. I tried to install component to a copy of site in my sandbox. Then I tried to install it at real site. There was the same error in both cases.
