i just uploaded the light latest version but i cannot upload images. never works. says uploaded finished, but there no upload showing.

i tried to put a folder through ftp, but doesn't show in the gallery as well

could you advise please

thank you

Please do two things:

  1. check the folder /images/eventgallery/[your_folder]. Does the uploaded file exists there?
  2. Do you see your images as list entries in the list of files for an event in the back end?

If so your server can't render the images. Did you went through the different possible reasons in the FAQ? Can you provide an URL to a page in the front end where images should appear?

Thank you for your answer.I managed to make it work.
Last question, how do you take out the ability to click on image and open in a diaporama ?I am under pageable presentation and i just want that there is no click possible on image. Just leaving them as this.
thank youvalerie

I'm afraid I don't understand what you mean. If you want to prevent the usage of the lightbox you're out of luck.

i did read the following but can't find where i mistake.

valerie

Folder Options

Specifies the folders name. If you want to add a Google Picasa album, enter user name and album id instead of a folder name. Both values can be found in the Picasa URL of this album. Avoid special characters in the folder name. Don't use the @ sign in the folder name anymore.

Picasa example: https://picasaweb.google.com/103855497268910100628/Maximilian5Jahr, User: 103855497268910100628, Album: Maximilian5Jahr. The URL format may vary but it'll will contain those values. Same is true for Google+ URLs. It it also possible that you see just numeric ids instead of readable ones.

104026348566927122176@SautArriereRealisableEn2emeSaut is correct and works for me. Make sure your server is allowed to connect to external web servers. allow_fopen_url should be set in the right way. With Event Gallery 3.5 curl is possible too.

Hello,
yes you are right it works.
but strangly, 2 of them shows code error in admin, and 1 of them doesn’t show in the categories.
see the attached printscreen
thank you
valerie

Your screenshot is too small. I can't read it. I guess you configured the Picasa data wrong for those two items. Check this page to get the right data:
