Hi Sven

I hope this message finds you well.

I was wondering, when additional images are added to an album already indexed in Event Gallery as an event, if these should automatically be added to the event.

Lets say I have 30 photos in a Flickr album and I have created an Event and pulled in those 30 images. They display perfectly on the front end. I now want to remove 5 and add 10 new ones. The 5 deleted images disappear from the front end by the new ones do not appear. Should that happen?

I have tried clearing cache, both in the event gallery dashbaord and at system level, and cleared cache in the browser but still only 25 files exist in Event Gallery.

Any suggestions?

Thanks
Dave

Hi Dave,

if you change a Flickr album you just need to wait. Or clear the cache for Flickr using the Joomla Cache Manager, Event Gallery or the file system. /cache/com_eventgallery_flickr is the folder you need to delete.

By default, Event Gallery caches Flickr responses for 24h. If you delete the cache, another request against the API happens and pulls the latest data.

Maybe the Flickr-API is kind of slow to deliver your new images. Please have a look at it tomorrow.

The waiting time should be over. Is it working now?
