Hi, I am setting the component Jsitemap, in order to create efficient sitemaps.

In images sitemap I do not see images managed by event gallery extended. I asked support to Jsitemap developer, and he told me:

"Event Gallery at the moment does not generate real images but only fake images lazy loaded using a PHP script: https://www.waterwind.it/new/components/com_eventgallery/helpers/image.php?&mode=crop&width=720&folder=W_2018_10_14_Isleten&file=Windsurf_Isleten_Urnesee_Switzerland_0_118.JPG
So to well index those images on Google you should disable the lazy load feature of Event Gallery if possible."

Is it possible? And How?

Thanks

Hi,

lazy loading has nothing to do with that. At least not from my perspective. Event Gallery never shows the original images for local and S3 images, so you always end up with URLs like the one above. You can call the result of this url "fake images", maybe even fake news ;) But actually, this is just a thumbnail.

The sitemap component needs to support Event Gallery. I got myself a plugin for OSMap. The my image sitemap looks like this: https://www.svenbluege.de/component/osmap/?view=xml&id=1&images=1&lang=en
Please note that I host my images at Amazon S3 so you'll not find that image.php script there. But still: only generated thumbnails are referenced. Otherwise, watermark and other stuff would be useless.

Hi Sven. Thanks for your accurate reply.

you're welcome. A version of this plugin is available for download here: https://www.svenbluege.de/joomla-event-gallery/eventgallery-download/event-gallery-bleeding/osmap-plugin

Since it is located in the dev download section, there is no support :)

Actually, the sitemap extension I am trying to configure is this one: https://storejextensions.org/extensions/jsitemap_professional.html

And, I guess there's no plugin for that, yet.

That might be true. At least I did not build one.
