Hi Sven,
I have the requirement to let registered users download images from my page and keep track of who downloaded what.
It is nearly the same requirement already discussed in "#1609 – email befor download". I did it via checkout and require only to input a mail address. I would like to skip that too if possible. This is already pretty close to what I want. The point is that registered users may have the option to input another address than the one for the registered Joomla! user for shipping, but at least I want to have the user data of the corresponding Joomla! user shown in the backend listing of placed orders. Just right now I can only see the submitted address which may or may not be the address of the registered user and I can not keep track of who ordered/downloaded what.
Yours sincerely

Hi,

I have the same answer as in 1609 :)

Can you force your customers to login? In this case Event Gallery would bind the order to a Joomla! user account.

Hi Sven,

this is what I do. I force the customers to login. Also I am pretty sure that you bind the data to the Joomla! user account. But I can not see the Joomla! user account data anywhere! This is why I opened this ticket ;-) See attachment. Users were logged in and I can only see the mail address which was put in manually in the checkout process.

I see. So you need to have some kind of user search in the backend, right?

Hi Sven,
I do not need to search. If the name of the Joomla! user (with or without link to that user in the administration backend) would be in that column where the mail addresses are in the screenshot I attached, that would be what is needed.

sbluege
That is something I can do. I'll add it to my list.

Would something help (see screenshot)?
