Hi. I would like to know if it is possibile to store pictures related to a specific event in subfolders of a main folder inside images/eventgallery. For example: images/eventgallery/2017/London. Reading you manual I didn't find any clear explanation. Thanks

This is not possible. Actually it is not necessary. Events work like Joomla! articles. If you need a hierarchy you can use categories or tags.
For your example just create a category "2017" and add the event "London" to it.
