Dear Sven,
I am trying to get Latest Event Module to work like this:

I have a line in the Main Menu saying "New" (see attached)
when I click on that Menu position, I would like to enter a gallery containing the latest 10 events (full albums sorted by date of their creation, linked automatically from all my website).

Is this possible?

How do I define the new "position" (for the latest event module set up page, on the right)?

How do I link the menu position with the module?

What category should I use (should I create a special one for that - right now in the screenshot it says "none" - in Polish)?

Yes, it's possible but you'll have no fun with it. Of cause you would need a new module position.

But... maybe there is another way:

- create the menu item and sort the events by date
- limit the number of events per page to 10
- use CSS to hide the paging bar.

But the whole thing has nothing todo with categories so you can ignore this. They are only used to filter events.

Great, thank you - it worked perfectly :)
Just one more question on this ticket: how do I get rid of the list of subcategories that displays at the top?
Please see the picture attached.
It is not a big problem, but it just does not look too nice and can be a little confusing.
